Community Buildings Service

22nd March 2017
Community Buildings Service

With our knowledge and understanding of the challenges faced by rural communities, we help those volunteers who manage community buildings to make them safe, attractive, sustainable and welcoming. With over 250 halls underpinning rural community life in Derbyshire, we have a wide range of heritage in our halls which range from village halls, church halls and sports pavilions to former Miners' Welfare Institutes, Town Halls and Community Centres.

What we offer - view our leaflet here .

We have moved away from offering a dedicated membership service which means we no longer operate an annual subscription for member halls. In 2016, we replaced this with a new information and advisory service. This essentially provides a basic information and support service to all our hall contacts, but with the added choice of halls commissioning our consultancy service when more in-depth support is required. Halls therefore, are only now charged for dedicated support as and when they need it.
