At regional level we collaborate closely with the other Rural Community Councils operating in East Midlands and jointly deliver a number of programmes of activity and projects. We have formed a company called Rural Community Action East Midlands – RCAEM and employ a small team of staff to support this work.
At national level we rely on our national body Action with Rural Communities in England (ACRE) which works with government departments to further the interests of rural communities. Each Rural Community Council contributes to a single set of data collated by ACRE which is then used to inform and support policies and ideas put forward at national level.
