Jacqui joined as RAD’s Policy & Partnerships Manager in September 2018.  Her work will focus on food poverty and financial inclusion, under the umbrella of the Feeding Derbyshire partnership work, which RAD took over lead from DCC in 2018.

She will be supporting the countywide network of voluntary, community, public and private sector organisations who are committed to addressing the issues affecting low income households and food insecurity.

Jacqui has over 25 years’ experience working within third sector infrastructure organisations in both CVS’s and Rural Community Councils across rural Nottinghamshire, the North Pennines, the Yorkshire Coast and South Wales.

Having grown up in the coastal parts of West Wales Jacqui has an affinity with isolated rural communities and is looking forward to getting more involved with communities in rural Derbyshire.

Jacqui has had various roles from Funding Advice Worker to Strategic Partnerships Co-ordinator.  Working across the spectrum from Senior Management to hands on Community Development, she brings with her a wealth of experience not only in partnerships, strategic planning and social policy, but also funding, public participation and campaigning.

Having a brief interlude working in the world of dog rescue, Jacqui now fundraises for her local RSPCA, and spends as much time as possible with her Spanish Rescue dog Fred.

She also has an arts background and still enjoys crafting, painting and visiting exhibitions – be that local or national. She also leads super simple dance classes for all ages in her local community in north Nottinghamshire.
