Jordan joined the RAD staff team in September 2018 as a part-time Administrative Assistant. Prior to that Jordan had been a volunteer coming into the office about once a week.

He is a Derbyshire local, born in Chesterfield with his school years at Woodthorpe and Netherthorpe. Jordan doesn't have any siblings, but his family do have 10 cats so he has plenty of company at home!

Jordan started out his working life in website administration with TTS Group Ltd, handling image processing for their online store and amending product pages. He then went on to work at FareShare as a Warehouse Assistant where his main focus was processing goods in and out, filling in paper work and completing weekly/daily checks.

Like many of the younger generations (anyone under 40 is definitely considered young!) he enjoys gaming on his PC and also Tabletop Wargames with Miniatures.

Jordan was a Wheels to Work service user, getting a moped load to help him with his transport to FareShare and to Matlock for his volunteering. "Being on the Wheels to Work scheme removed my reliance on public transport. It was often difficult to get around on and very time consuming compared to having my own transport. I've since bought my own bike, a Honda CB125R and hope to get my full bike licence when I am 24 and when I can afford it!".

He also hopes to travel around Scotland and Europe when he gets a bigger bike.

Jordan's taste in music is a little different to the majority to RAD staff members. His favourite band is Rise Against, a pretty hardcore punk band!
