Day 1 - Green Buildings, a zero carbon future for village halls

Day 2 - Community Hubs, safety, digital, wellbeing, loneliness, warmth

Day 3 - Post Covid-19, adapt and modernise

Whether you are already a supplier to community buildings or haven’t yet considered these as a potential market, like all providers of public spaces, these organisations regularly consume a wide-range of products and services. This can include professional services, repairs, heating and renewable energy systems, floors, lighting, and much more.

Refresh, Restart and Recover.

With the focus on community recovery, we believe community buildings play a large role in bringing about renewal, addressing social exclusion and facilitate refreshed community activity as communities come together. We are also encouraging halls to become more environmentally aware in the future and consider community solutions to minimise their overall carbon footprint.

The ‘Refresh, Restart and Recover’ Conference is designed to help village and community halls who are dedicated to meet the great challenges ahead, re-engage with their communities to deliver the services they now need and to put themselves on a sound financial footing for the future.

If you have not heard of RAD before, we are a small, but well-established local charity founded in 1924, that has had a big impact across the whole of Derbyshire. We have got great coverage and an exceptional reputation having recently been shortlisted as a finalist in the ‘Charity Times Awards’ 2021 and Regional Winners in the Midlands Rural Business Awards 2021.
