Are you a community organisation (including a church, school or charity) that is running, or thinking of running, a food bank, a breakfast club, a community café or a similar project to provide your community with access to good quality and affordable food?

Would you like support with developing and delivering your projects and to learn from other similar projects?

Rural Action Derbyshire (on behalf of the Feeding Derbyshire partnership) is running a series of free 1 day workshops to help community organisations tackle food poverty across Derbyshire.

The workshops will cover the following broad themes:

Organisational development  - including clarifying your mission and vision, developing your strategy, preparing a business plan etc.Fundraising and sustainability

Fundraising and Sustainability

Governance - including trustees roles and responsibilities and setting up new organisations.

Volunteers - including recruiting, training and retaining.

However, we would also like to tailor the workshops in order to address any specific issues you and your organisation are looking for support with. This will be an 'evolving programme' based on your feedback.
