Digital Inclusion Grants to the value of £4,000

Purpose of the Grants

The grants are designed to assist local providers of digital inclusion support across Derbyshire, enabling more residents to become digitally included, connected, and confident.

The DSD Governance Panel is seeking groups and services that align with the following priorities:

  • Provide 1-1 digital support, either within a project or in someone’s home.
  • Increase the number of Digital Champions in Derbyshire.
  • Reduce social isolation caused by digital exclusion.
  • Cover geographical areas with gaps in existing digital inclusion support.
  • Develop relevant resources for the Network and its members.
  • Deliver training to increase digital inclusion for residents or train Digital Champions.
  • Enable and support people to develop digital skills for accessing online health services, such as the NHS Health App.

What Will We Fund?

We will fund new or existing services or activities that meet the priorities listed above. This includes:

  • Services expanding their digital support capacity to reach digitally excluded areas.
  • Revenue costs associated with project delivery, including salaries, rent, and training.
  • Reasonable capital costs, provided with quotes. For device funding, we will signpost to the device recycling project.

To apply, your organisation must be:

  • A voluntary, community, faith, or social enterprise group with a written constitution.
  • Based or working in Derbyshire and a DSD Member. (Non-members can contact [email protected] to sign up.)
