What we do Community Buildings Advisory Service Enterprising Halls Getting Your Hall Enterprise Ready After the success of our conference last November, plans are now well under way for our next event. This will take place on Friday 8th November 2019 at the same venue, the Post Mill Centre, South Normanton near Alfreton. Only 5 minutes from Junction 28 of the M1. This is an essential annual event to meet like-minded people, learn and exchange ideas and explore ways you can generate more income through enterprise and investment in your village hall. The key themes are: Help with fundraising and funding advice Developing your digital know-how Generating income - marketing and business planning You will hear from speakers about different enterprise opportunities in the morning and get practical "how to" help in afternoon workshops. You will leave the day not only inspired, but with a very clear idea of what you can do next. Helena Stubbs, RAD's Village Halls Adviser said; "We are very excited about this year's conference. We've already got some great speakers lined up and the day will be full of ideas on making village and community halls enterprising and sustainable. There will be a number of exhibitors promoting valuable products and services for halls. The conference opens at 9.00am with Registration and the chance to visit the stands and will end at 3.30pm. Cost There will be an early bird ticket price on sale in June. The standard price tickets will then be on sale from September. Prices to be advised.
