An organisation (whether in the voluntary, public or private sector) that; offers resources like food, funding, volunteers, support services to the food sector or, has an interest in or is involved in food sector strategy and policy

Feeding Derbyshire will:

  • Provide network members with regular and meaningful information
  • Maintain a public directory of emergency and affordable food providers across Derbyshire
  • Maintain a website including useful tools and resources
  • Raise awareness of issues affecting the Derbyshire food sector and campaign on its behalf
  • Facilitate regular events
  • Facilitate quarterly steering group meetings
  • Facilitate representation at regional and national events (e.g. Feeding Britain)
  • Facilitate opportunities to develop partnerships and projects to address issues such as food insecurity or food supply
  • Facilitate opportunities to share learning locally and nationally and inform policy and practice
  • Lead grant and tender applications to further develop the Feeding Derbyshire network

Partner Members are asked to:

  • Support Feeding Derbyshire and other network members in its aims to address to food insecurity
  • Promote Feeding Derbyshire and encourage others to join the network
  • Provide feedback to inform the ongoing development of Feeding Derbyshire
  • Support providers to develop existing and new provision
  • Promote opportunities for collaborative working with other partner/services
  • Identify new funding opportunities for Feeding Derbyshire
  • Support shared learning and wider opportunities to inform strategies and policy / practice
