Money Sorted in D2N2 An update from D2N2 in South Derbyshire. As lockdown measures begin to ease, financial matters will become a priority for many people over the coming months. This week sees eviction notices being enforced and a worry that many people will be homeless. Payment holidays ended 31st March and "tailored support" is currently being offered by private companies, which can affect future credit ratings. this can lead to limited financial options for the individual, including doorstep lenders or loan sharks, and ultimately the risk of financial crisis. Furlough schemes will end in September increasing the risk to jobs and a potential significant rise in unemployment. Put all of this together and you have a "perfect financial crisis storm" waiting to happen. During this period, people will need support more than ever and that is where Money Sorted in D2N2 South Derbyshire can help.
