News & What's On The 'Digital Inclusion in Derbyshire' Survey Complete the 'Digital Inclusion in Derbyshire Survey' and have the opportunity to win a tablet for your organisation! We would like to ask for your help to tell us about how digital exclusion impacts on your service users and communities. Rural Action Derbyshire (RAD) is working with Citizens Online (a digital inclusion charity) to find out more about existing digital support, plug gaps and find out what more is needed. Rural Action Derbyshire has recently been awarded funding from NHS Charities Together to deliver a digital inclusion project that aims to: Map current digital inclusion offers across the county Spot potential gaps in provision and, where appropriate, work with those communities and other partners to pilot new digital inclusion projects Connect existing and developing projects through a network - to enable the sharing of good ideas and best practice Work collaboratively to support the delivery of specific digital inclusion initiatives – for example, NHS Digital Healthcare services Increase the number of active digital champions in the county Strengthen the digital resilience of our Voluntary, Community, and Social Enterprise sector Citizen’s Online have been commissioned by Derbyshire County Council to carry out Digital Inclusion Research across the county. You can read more about the project here: Digital Inclusion across Derbyshire – call for collaboration - Citizens Online In the spirit of collaboration and to minimise duplication, RAD and Citizen’s Online have co-created a survey to send out to the county’s Voluntary, Community and Social Enterprise sector. Broadly speaking, the aims of the survey are to better understand the digital needs of Derbyshire communities, but more specifically, how the voluntary and community sector is currently supporting those digital needs, and the resources they might need in order to develop their digital inclusion offers. We would be very grateful if you could complete the survey by clicking on the green button below. There are 20 questions (mainly multiple choice) which should take about 10-15 minutes to complete. To thank you for your time you will have the option of being entered into a free prize draw to win a tablet. Click here to complete the survey! If you can, please promote this survey to your relevant networks by sending them the link to this page. If you are interested in finding out more about RAD’s Digital Inclusion work or to be involved in this project, we would love to hear from you.
