What we do Farming community support Agricultural Chaplaincy Welfare Fund The Welfare Fund The Derbyshire Agricultural Chaplaincy exists to support the farming community in Derbyshire as part of Rural Action Derbyshire (RAD), a registered charity operating across the county. RAD aims to improve the life of those living and working in rural Derbyshire. The welfare fund provides one off small grants of up £200 to the agricultural community. The grants are provided to improve the health and well-being of the farming community in cases where circumstances have led or are leading to a significant deterioration in an individual’s health and well-being. Eligibility Applicants must be over 18 and currently working as a farmer, farm manager or farmworker in Derbyshire as their main occupation and / or be retired from farming.
