  1. Who We Are

Join our team

Staff

We have a fantastic team of staff at RAD.

The majority of staff are part-time and work from the office in Matlock or with remote access to our IT network many also have the freedom to work from home or other locations (which is very useful during the current pandemic!).

KICKSTART EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT - JANUARY 2021

We currently have a vacancy through the Governments Kickstart scheme. To qualify for this post you must be 16 to 24 years of age and be in receipt of Universal Credit. Please contact your Work Coach at the Job Centre if you are interested in applying for this position. If you or they have any queries, please contact Emma Simpson on 07540 736118, [email protected].

Role Description

Application Form

Equalities Monitoring Form

APPLICATIONS CLOSE: 10.00am on Monday 15th February 2021.

We are also looking for Cyber Buddy volunteers and Rural Chaplaincy volunteers.

Volunteer with us

Cyber Buddies

We are currently (October 2020) recruiting volunteers to act as Cyber Buddies. There are still many households in Derbyshire that are not 'online'. In the current covid conditions, more and more services are moving online which means many people will struggle if they are not confident to use digital technology. If you have a good knowledge of IT and how digital services work, you have some time to spare each week then we would like to hear from you. Please email Joe Dugdale.

Volunteer Chaplains

We are also always looking for Volunteer Chaplains to enable the team to extend its reach. Please have a look at the work of the Derbyshire Rural Chaplaincy (formerly Derbyshire Agricultural Chaplaincy) and contact Revd Alan Griggs, Lead Chaplain, if you would like any further details, [email protected] or call him on 07710 088 972.

Volunteers at RAD have played an important role within the organisation, from helping with IT to supporting farmers, village halls and coordinating the oil buying scheme.

If you are interested in any area of our work and have some free time, skills and enthusiasm, then please get in touch.

Get in touch

Anyone interested in learning more about joining RAD in any capacity, please contact Beverley Parker on 01629 592971 or by email, [email protected].
