As a Director and Trustee of Rural Action Derbyshire (RAD), you will help provide strategic leadership and governance, ensuring the charity operates in line with its legal obligations, charitable objectives and values. Trustees support the organisation’s long-term sustainability by overseeing performance, finances and resources, contributing their skills and experience to Board decision-making, championing RAD’s work, and supporting the Chief Executive Officer. The role involves attending a minimum of four Board meetings per year, preparing for discussions, maintaining high standards of integrity, and occasionally participating in additional activities, training and governance duties.
