What is Peaks and Dales?

Peaks & Dales E-Bike Hire is a new project from Rural Action Derbyshire, which will enable tourists visiting the Derbyshire Dales and Peaks to have a high specification electric trail bike delivered to their holiday accommodation for use during their stay.

Through our online booking system, tourists to the Peaks and Dales will state how long they would like to hire an e-bike for, and we will deliver the bikes to their holiday accommodation when the guests have arrived, and collect them before they leave.

What Peaks and Dales e-bikes can offer accommodation providers

• They will help your site to become a greener option for tourists
• There has been a growth in the desire for sustainable travel - roughly two-thirds (65%) of people say it’s vital that travel be more sustainable

We're a small charity making a big difference, working to ensure no-one is unfairly disadvantaged because they live in a rural area. 

All e-bikes hired through the scheme will also help to support:

• Food banks and community pantries
• Transport for isolated communities
• Lower heating costs for rural residents
• Rural Domestic Abuse awareness training
