The challenges faced by victims of domestic abuse who live in the countryside can be quite different to those living in the town or city.

The Willow Project delivers awareness training throughout Derbyshire. This will help people identify the signs of domestic abuse, give them the confidence to report it and also to challenge attitudes that perpetuate domestic abuse, particularly in rural areas.

The Willow Project is now offering FREE talks for organisations and groups who work or live in Derbyshire. These talks can be tailored to o your requirements and focus on different aspects of rural abuse as necessary.

If you're experiencing domestic abuse or know someone who is, please call the Derbyshire Domestic Abuse Helpline on 08000 198 668 and you'll get help from someone close by.

If in an emergency always call 999 for help.

For the National Domestic Violence 24-hour help line call 0808 2000 247.
