National Village Halls Week

22nd – 28th January 2018

To celebrate the first ever Village Halls Week, RAD is holding two Networking Events:

Come along and meet with your colleagues and friends to find out what is happening in the world of village halls. Whether you are a long-standing trustee, a new or potentially new committee member, a local authority or just curious about village halls, then please do come along and join us.

You will be able to learn more about the service we offer, share good practice, identify common concerns, identify your training needs and tell us how RAD can better support you in the future. It is free to attend and will give you the opportunity to discuss issues affecting your hall with others facing similar experiences.

You will also hear about the new GDPR Data Protection legislation, coming into force in May 2018 and how this will affect your organisation and the ‘Digital Village Hall’.

To book your place/s, please email Helena Stubbs, or phone 01629 592970 or 01629 592973

It is essential you book your place for catering purposes; light refreshments provided.

Our national body ACRE (Action with Communities in Rural England) is running the campaign. If successful, this could become an annual event and a fantastic opportunity to promote the role of village halls, the volunteers who run them and the national ACRE Network who support them.
