What We Do Help With Finances The Smallwood Trust The Smallwood Trust Our mission is to enable women to become financially resilient by equipping them with the skills they need to secure a confident financial future. We provide grants to organisations and individuals and work with selected partners to help women overcome financial adversity and to improve their social and emotional well-being. Women’s Sector Resilience Fund The Women’s Sector Resilience Fund is available to frontline organisations in the Women’s Sector. It’s purpose is to safeguard vital services for the most vulnerable women, whose poverty has been exacerbated during the coronavirus pandemic or those who have been pushed into new financial hardship. The services we are looking to fund must ultimately align with our mission to enable financial resilience amongst women in England. You may apply if you have an annual income of less than £1 million, and you can apply for a grant of between £20,000 - £30,000. The Smallwood Trust aims to award c.75 grants at a total of c.£2 million. Future funding of c.£2.1 million match will be funded by Smallwood between 2021 and 2023. We are assessing applications on an ongoing basis and encourage you to apply as soon as you can. Covid-19 Frontline Women’s Fund The COVID-19 Frontline Women’s Fund is being delivered by Smallwood Trust, supported by The National Lottery Community Fund. The National Lottery Community Fund has committed almost £500,000 to the fund, which will be used to provide support to organisations that are working with women most at risk of poverty and financial hardship due to the pandemic. You may apply if you have an annual income of less than £250,000, and you can apply for a grant between £5,000 - £25,000. In this round The Smallwood Trust aims to award c.30 grants at a total from a total funding pot of £475,000. This fund is open now and will close for applications at 5pm on Monday 16th November.
